Outdoor Family Camping 2021
As the seasons turn, the trees shed their leaves and the nights draw in, we are looking back and reflecting on our Family Camping trips of 2021.
For our community, our Family Camping trips are a huge highlight of the year. We go to our haven, Fairyland, and we create a community together for a week. We share games, recipes, dreams, stories, adventures… Together, we make discoveries, meals and memories.
We rely on one another. "It is not possible to go camping with a baby single-handed unless you have a community around you to help," said one mum. "We are like a big family," said a child.

Every light needs a dark place to shine
The last year may have seemed quite overwhelming, but we shouldn't lose sight of the fact we're probably already quite skilled in getting through hard times. As we grew up, we learnt how to cope; we managed to face down fears. By reflecting on the playful, happier moments, and the sparks of light in the darkness, we can tap into the wellspring of our resilience.
