Sponsors
Lots of people and organisations help make Outdoor People happen, from our Board, our lovely customers and my dog Charlie. But a special thanks is due to the organisations that give us grants, subsidised resources and free stuff that make the projects work...
Huge thanks to Vango, and in particular Blacks of Greenock the folks behind Force Ten Tents, who have helped me to get the new tents to replace my lovely but old Merdina Conquests.
Big thanks too to Storm, makers of great waterproofing products, who took away all my gorgeous Merdina Conquests and (with the help of an amazing scout troop!) reproofed them ready for this summer!
Hackney Council have been hugely supportive, but through initially commissioning Hackney Wild Walks and through a direct grant supporting Dangerous Play.
We are super grateful to the School for Social Entrepreneurs, who not only gave me a grant to support the development of Outdoor Family Camping, but also advice and support as they believed this crazy idea for a social enterprise just might work... I also give a big big thank you to Unilever's Dirt is Good team and Project Dirt, as getting involved with Outdoor Classroom Day has quite simply made my social enterprise work!
