Introducing Outdoor People

This website is predominantly about the shop, so you can buy the outdoor gear you want onlione and know it supports our projects!

That said, if you need advice on how to get outdoors more, that is just the place to come. It is in the heart of Hackney!

We are now activily fundraising and recruiting for Outdoor Family Camping, and hoping to take twelve families camping this summer - if you can help either get in touch or donate via our Local Giving page!

You can read more about the OPAL Primary Programme we deliver over the schools tab. We have the franchise to deliver this amazing programme, developed by Michael Follett almost 20 years ago, across East London and East Kent, and we work in a network of providers across the UK and beyond. If your school is wants great playtimes every day, do request a free introduction.

We have free Wild Walks maps on the website and in the shop and we host Wild Walks regularly from the shop or around Hackney.

Finally next year we'll add in the Sandpit service and Schools Shop to this film - if you want your dream beach or to ket out your class with great waterproofs, do get in touch!
