Reimagining Amhurst Road
We want to make sure the new-look Amhurst Road is a greener, healthier, more PLAYFUL space ... so we're inviting families for a brief exploration around the area. This is a chance for children, young people, parents & carers to share their ideas to help create the public space they would like to see.
Hackney Wild Walks 2021/2022
Wild Walks – ‘adventures for children to take their adults on’ – are short walks of about 2km (taking about 2 hours), perfect for 3-7 year olds, and with lots of adventure and discovery for their adults and older siblings.
As a community, every two weeks, we go on adventures exploring our local green spaces in Hackney and nearby. The aim is to create an environment where children feel they have permission to play outdoors, connect with nature and have fun!
If you would like to join any of our Wild Walks please email beth@outdoorpeople.org.uk, and Beth - our Community Coordinator - will book you and your family in. It's free - all we ask is you pay it forward by taking a friend for a walk in the future...
