Hackney Wild Walks 2021/2022
Wild Walks â âadventures for children to take their adults onâ â are short walks of about 2km (taking about 2 hours), perfect for 3-7 year olds, and with lots of adventure and discovery for their adults and older siblings.
As a community, every two weeks, we go on adventures exploring our local green spaces in Hackney and nearby. The aim is to create an environment where children feel they have permission to play outdoors, connect with nature and have fun!
If you would like to join any of our Wild Walks please email beth@outdoorpeople.org.uk, and Beth - our Community Coordinator - will book you and your family in. It's free - all we ask is you pay it forward by taking a friend for a walk in the future...
Post-Lockdown Family Wild Walk!
We are excited to restart our Wild Walks project and to be able to gather again, even under current restrictions! It is important to us that our Wild Walks are safe, inclusive and nourishing for everyone.Â

Springtime Family Wild Walks
Following the government's latest guidance on emerging from national lockdown, we are excited to announce that we will be restarting our Family Wild Walks!

As a community, every two weeks, we go on adventures exploring our local green spaces in Hackney and nearby! The aim is to create an environment where children feel they have permission to play outdoors, connect with nature and have fun!
Our next Wild Walks are:

- Sunday 2 May 11am, Clapton Common
- Sunday 16 May 11am, Finsbury Park Playground
