Every light needs a dark place to shine
The last year may have seemed quite overwhelming, but we shouldn't lose sight of the fact we're probably already quite skilled in getting through hard times. As we grew up, we learnt how to cope; we managed to face down fears. By reflecting on the playful, happier moments, and the sparks of light in the darkness, we can tap into the wellspring of our resilience.

Can I go outside?
For now, parks and green spaces are open, so people can get a crucial hour outdoors. Thankfully, the message is that a daily connection to nature – even if that is from your window or just outside your door – remains a crucial part of our collective wellbeing. So, follow the rules on social distancing: stay local, only go out once a day by yourself or with your family group, and don't go out if you feel unwell.
