Once again we were off to Green Farm Kent to enjoy a week of camping in the late summer sun. This year, our mission was to grow a Gratitude Tree - with deep roots, intertwining underground with neighbouring trees, nourished by good food and plenty of water, and with a thousand thanks for leaves!

We were back at Green Farm Kent this August with 11 families from Hackney, Southwark and Hammersmith, for their first ever camping trip! It was great to see everyone with big smiles, breathing fresh air and relaxing...
Last summer, as part of our favourite Outdoor Family Camping programme, we took five excited families away for four days to the beautiful woodlands behind Green Farm Kent. For all the families, it was their first time camping as a family, and for some of them their very first holiday together. Everyone took away some new skills, some great memories and a lot of new freckles...
We’re on the way to plan our summer Family Camping trips and Hackney Wild Walk adventures – and we need volunteers! Why? To help the camping run smoothly, cook over the fire, put up a few tents, and help out with games and activities.
