Baked beans are great for breakfast to set you up for a great day outdoors. These posh baked beans takes it to the next level...
A filling British breakfast of soya and potato baked with three types of beans in a tomato sauce.
The Vegan Breakfast Club
They always say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, which is why we pack our vegan breakfast with protein-filled soya. Mixed in a dark and sticky tomato sauce, we add crisp potatoes and three kinds of beans. This is finished with the heat of tabasco and a zing of fresh ginger, creating a warming, delicately sweet morning treat. When you’re tucked into a sleeping bag on a cold mountain, this hearty breakfast is the best reason we can think of to get up.
This meal is cooked in Dorset from the best ingredients and then quickly dehydrated so it keeps forever, then just add boiling water and boom, dinner.
Perfect for camping, festivals or just when you can't be bothered to cook...
The foil packaging allows for the meal to be prepared without the use of a pan – you simply pour in boiling water up to the right level, stir, reseal and let stand for a few minutes. You can also pour it out and cook on the stove by just bringing it to the boil and then letting it stand - so it doesn't use up your gas or firewood.
These meals are a hearty meal for one or enough to be shared (especially if you pack in some bread or make yourself some damper)
