We're gearing up for our 2024 Outdoor Family Camping trip and we need your help! We're looking for volunteers to join us in making these trips a success.

In partnership with Pearce Coggan Foundation, we will be taking families for their first ever camping trip to Green Farm Kent in August. We need people to help us set up on 17 - 19 August, and pack down 24 - 25 August. If you can only make it down for a day, please let us know, as we should still be able to get you to the site.
Why do we need volunteers?
We simply can't run our summer project without your help. Although the families will be learning how to put up the tents, cook over a camp fire, and set up their sleep system to keep themselves warm at night, we need your help to make sure the campsite is ready and welcoming.but we can't do it alone. We need volunteers to help shift the tents from storage to the site, set up the kitchen area, and stow the gear at the end of the week.
Outdoor Family Camping is all about connecting with nature and laying down memories for life. For the families who join us, this will be the first time they've been on a camping trip - so quite a daunting experience - for families on low incomes it may be their only chance to get away over the summer.
What will you get out of volunteering?
Volunteering over the weekend is a great way to meet new people and have some fun. We cook up a great vegetarian meal every night, and you get to camp in Green Farm's stunning acres of oak woodland. We'll cover your travel expenses to and from the site, and pick you up and drop you off at Ashford station if you need.
