Get ready for an adventure from Hackney Downs to Hackney Central. Visit new playgrounds, ancient fossils, churchyards and experience an early winter solstice party at Outdoor People!
Join our chief explorer, Cath, and encourage your kids to be chief explorers as they help us lead a journey through our local area of Hackney.
Make friends, learn from each other and connect with nature!
Perfect for all ages and buggy-friendly, this walk is a great way to discover the wonderful outdoors on offer on our doorsteps in Hackney.
The practical bits
When: Saturday 12th December at 10:45 am, aiming to set off at 11.
Where: Meet at Hackney Downs (link to Google Maps).
Please book a ticket for each of you joining, and let us know how many children will be with you, just so we can plan for volunteers.
All families are welcome to come along. Well-behaved dogs (on leads!) and friends are also welcome.

This starting point is near Manor House station, with lots of buses.
Bring a snack/drinks for yourself and your family, and dress for the weather on the day. We'll bring extra snacks and a big picnic blanket in expectation of good weather!
