Get ready for an adventure through the Walthamstow Marshes—a journey across wide, open green spaces full of delights.
Join our chief explorer, Cath, and encourage your kids to be chief explorers as they lead the way through small wild woods to sit on fallen trees or watch bees fly by.
Make friends, learn from each other and connect with nature!
On the way, you can spot diverse and magical wildlife like the ducks and swans that paddle the River Lea. Along the way, you'll discover long grass where you can pretend to be a stalking animal and a high hill where you can sit and admire how far you can see.
For those looking for a BIG adventure, you can follow the path to see if you can spot the local horses! At our destination, the fun continues at the Hackney Adventure Playground or by spinning on the grass like the earth spins through space.
Perfect for all ages, this walk is a great way to discover the wonderful outdoors on offer in London.
