Wild Walk Leader Training Information Afternoons

Do you enjoy going on walks with you family and friends in your local green spaces? Would you like to discover new green spaces, nature games and stories? Would you like to have a go at leading walks with families in your local area?

Family Wild Walks is growing and we need more Wild Walk Leaders!

Volunteering as a Wild Walk Leader is a great way to get to know your area better and make more friends in your community. It is a chance for you and your family to get outdoors more, play more, explore more and it helps other families get out more too!

Outdoor People are facilitating a Wild Walks Leader training and mentoring programme this winter, ready for lots of walks and adventures over the spring and summer! Through the programme you will be trained in First Aid at Work, Safeguarding Children and all the tools you needs to host your own wild walks!

If you are interested in becoming a Wild Walks Leader, you can find more information here. You can drop into the Outdoor People Shop (Netil Market, E8) to visit me (Beth) to chat more about the programme!
