For now all our Wild Walks are postponed, but we're thinking hard about how we can restart our programme after the lockdown has been lifted. Family Wild Walks are adventures for children to take their parents on and explore the wild and playful places of Hackney and beyond...
All walks last around 2 hours (though you can leave earlier, and we sometimes go further). Children should bring a parent/parents/grandparent/older friend, along with a picnic snack, something to drink, the right clothes and a sense of fun. On most of these adventures we will explore a big green space, an unusual small pocket park and the wild nature we can spot in between....
We have some great waterproof kit for kids, some perfectly good donated ones and some brand new for sale, just let us know. We can also advise on how to dress for all the weather that London (and indeed anywhere) can throw at you!
All walks are free but we do appreciate a donation to help sustain the walks - suggested c. £5 per child - or please share the fundraising page with your friends/school/groups.
