We are very excited to announce that this Spring Outdoor People are teaming up with Sam Lee’s Nest Collective and Green Farm Kent at this year's Singing With Nightingales to offer up to 10 of the visitors a camping treat.
UPDATED 29/4 - after doing 3 events, the universal feedback is "WONDERFUL" - the warm welcome, the nighttime cocoa, the crisp linen, the cosy duvets, the morning woodland walk... And the campfire breakfast!
This night is a spellbinding night of fireside folk music celebrating the lyrical magic of the nightingale... a unique chance to enjoy birdsong and folklore deep in one of England’s most beautiful woodland spots.
There is a magical line up of talent every weekend from 28th April until 26th May, including Japanese flautists, traditional folk singers and blues guitarists... something for every taste and every evening a joy.

As the event finishes late, we’re offering a special camping experience, so you can talk or sing into the night, sleep late and put off that jarring return to the modern world. The camping experience includes the option of a morning woodland walk, yoga or meditation session and a delicious breakfast cooked over a roaring fire. Tent hire costs £100 for two people (or £80 for single occupancy) and includes:
- A classic 3 person Vango Force Ten canvas tent or larger Vango Mambo tent;
- Thick sleeping mat, covers and pillows*, plus a solar powered lamp;
- Morning woodland walks, yoga or meditation session (optional if you want to sleep in!);
- A chance to listen to the dawn chorus, plus a delicious breakfast cooked over a roaring fire.
The campsite is in a nearby field next to lambs, has a hot shower and toilet nearby and is just a two-minute walk from the woodland concert site. There's a kitchen hut and shelters if it's raining.
If you'd like to add another night then message us for a discount code - you can have the second night for 40% off! There are lots of good pubs and walks nearby, or why not check out the spa... LINK
