The Feuerhand LED Storm Lantern wonderfully combines 1890s aesthetics and 21st century tech. There’s no naked flames or lamp oil to worry about (one less worry if you have toddlers wandering around your pitch), and you can run the lamp off rechargeable batteries.
The cap for the tank cap has been repurposed as a dimmer switch, just twist to the right to adjust the beam from a discrete 2 lumens to a powerful 150 lumens (stick to a lower setting for prolonged use).

Sustainability
Use two 18650 lithium-ion rechargeable batteries, which can be charged directly via the USB-C connection (you will need to buy the batteries and USB-C cable separately). Alternatively, use three standard AAA batteries (not included).
